The **Advisory Council** (AC) is a consultative body which supports and advises the [[public:bodies:bureau|Bureau]]. 

===== Function =====

The AC have regular meetings with the [[public:bodies:mb|Managing Bureau]]. They help ensure that the Bureau is fulfilling the ambitions set out in the [[public:docs:ap|Action Plan]]. 
===== Selection =====

Members of the AC are appointed by the [[public:bodies:ga|General Assembly]] and serve a two year term. The existing members of the AC may stay on if they wish.
