The General Assembly is a meeting of the members of IFLRY. We usually hold this twice a year and it forms the highest decision making body of the federation. It is an opportunity to meet and connect with other young liberal activists from around the world and to represent the views of your organisation in shaping the future of IFLRY. If you have any general questions about the GA, please contact office@iflry.org, we are more than happy to answer them.
International Officers will be given access to OpenSlides, the online platform we use during the general assembly to manage resolutions and voting. If you wish to submit a motion before then, you can do so by emailing office@iflry.org.

You should contact the bureau by emailing who will help with the membership application process bureau@iflry.org. It is advisable to do this before the official deadline so that the bureau can arrange a meeting and help with the application process.
Individual Membership is handled by the individual members vetting committee. Please email the committee with a CV and cover letter or letter of recommendation imvc@iflry.org. They can arrange an online interview and will then decide on your application.

Yes. We will be livestreaming the event on zoom. You will be able to fully participate from anywhere in the world, including exercising voting rights and joining debates.
Registration will open shortly. More details will be provided soon. If you are responsible for selecting delegates to attend the event on behalf of your organisation, we advise that you already start planning this.
Participants will be provided with hotel accommodation for 3 nights, covering the duration of the event (1st-4th May). The event will start in the afternoon of the first day and will finish by the afternoon of the final day, so that delegates can use these days for travelling to and from Bosnia. If you wish to extend your stay, you will be responsible for any extra nights of the accommodation required.
The registration fee will also include meals and refreshments during the event. We are happy to cater to all dietary requirements if we are informed in advance.
By default, there will be two people per room, however we can upgrade you to a private room for an additional fee if you wish.
You must be nominated by a full member organisation in order to run in the elections. You should submit your application by email to the office office@iflry.org, stating clearly the position you wish to nominate yourself for and the organisation nominating you. You should include a letter of recommendation from your nominating organisation and a CV. You may include any other documents you wish to be published as you see fit.
Important Note for Candidates: We will be having a Bureau meeting after the GA. If you are running in the Bureau elections, you must book travel arrangements that will allow you to attend this meeting, so we advise you to book return travel no earlier than 6th May. Extra accommodation will only be provided for successfully elected candidates, and so we advise that you make contingency arrangements for accommodation after the GA in case you are not elected.
